Logo出炉了!

Logo finally completed!

Finally after about 2 months, the In-Sight-Out logo is complete, fresh out of the oven!

The important theme of In-Sight-Out is to use a humanistic, lifestyle driven approach to photography, hence, in the logo, you would be able to see the outline of a person, not to mention the outline of the age old Chinese character (REN) which means “human”. To each their own as a quick survey of opinions showed: some would say that the outlined figure is taking a photograph; some would say it’s dancing… The red circle in the middle represents the eye of the lens of the camera, which complements the very purpose of In-Sight-Out, the capability of insight from the inside out.

In terms of color selection, grey and red was used. Grey is a monotonous color, which brings out the simplicity which is a basic characteristic that human life should possess. Red symbolizes a focal point, alike the center of focus through the lens of a camera. Red is a sensitive color, the color which is the fastest to come in contact with the human eye. It is also one of the primary colors examined in the study of color. Red also symbolizes passion and ability, just like our team of dedicated photographers…


经过两个多月的时间,In-Sight-Out的logo终于出炉了。。。
In-Sight-Out这组合的主要动向是利用一种较为人性及生活化的摄影手法为主要风格,所以logo里出现一个人的外形,加上也呈现出一个中文字“人”,看上去可以让大家去猜想那人的动作,经过访问,有些人觉得就像一个人正在拍照,有些人觉得像在跳舞。。。中间那圆形代表着眼睛或相机镜头,符合了In-Sight-Out的含义,由内到外的洞察能力。

色彩方面采用了灰色与红色,灰色是属于无彩色,带出回归简单朴素的人性原有生活特质;红色是代表焦点,就如用相机里的对焦屏对焦颜色,红色也是人类最敏感,眼睛最快接触的颜色,色彩学里最原始颜色之一;红色也代表了热诚,能力,就如同我们这一班成员。。。
